Who we are

This website is run by ROOTCAT, a web studio. If you have any question about your data, email us at info@rootcat.dev.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us, plus the minimum a web server needs to work.

• Contact form: your name, email address, project type, budget range and message.
• Email: anything you send to info@rootcat.dev.
• Technical data: your IP address is checked briefly to stop spam (limited to a few messages per 10 minutes). Our hosting server may keep standard access logs for security.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent your data.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• To deliver and support a project if you become a client.
• To keep the website secure and free of spam.

By sending the contact form you agree that we may use your details for these purposes. We aim to follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Who we share it with

Form messages are delivered to our own mail server. We share data only with services we need to run the website and our business, such as hosting and email, and only as far as they need it. We will disclose data if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless you become a client, in which case we keep project records for as long as the law and our agreement require.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Email info@rootcat.dev and we will reply within 30 days.
